The USA is the origin and birthplace of coloring books. A process called the democratization of art was the reason for the birth of coloring books. Educators from different backgrounds were in agreement that artistic education was helpful to all because it developed cognitive abilities, and advanced peoples’ understanding of tangible things. The skills that a person develops in art education as a kid are very likely to prove extremely useful in his future as an adult. He might even end up finding his passion in life or a career as a consequence of developing an early artistic skill.
